Two Open Call Wins with HUG
I'm excited to share the news of two significant milestones in my artistic journey, as I’ve recently been selected for two incredible open calls, both powered by HUG.
The first is my artwork, "Follow Me," which was chosen for the "Art and AI" exhibition at the renowned Marketplace Conference in Berlin, which took place on September 24th, 2024.
This event brought together top founders, VCs, and marketplace enthusiasts from around the world, with a focus on AI’s evolution in marketplaces. Having "Follow Me" featured in this forward-thinking conference is a remarkable opportunity to showcase how art can intersect with cutting-edge technology, offering a reflection on how human creativity continues to shape our future.
Follow Me
The second selection was for my piece "Blossoms of Vitality," which was chosen for the Root 2 Fruit Open Call as part of the Root 2 Fruit Art & Wellness Festival. This festival, curated by Forbidden Fruit, emphasizes the theme of Creative Wellness —art that inspires, provokes thought, and embraces nature and well-being. "Blossoms of Vitality" is a vibrant reflection of these values, and I’m honored to be part of this unique event. The exhibition will be showcased both at the One Art Community Center in West Philadelphia and through online platforms, allowing a broad audience to experience the intersection of creativity and wellness.
Both of these selections are meaningful in their own right. "Follow Me" explores the dynamic interplay between human creativity and technological advancement, while "Blossoms of Vitality" highlights the essential role of art in promoting wellness and community. Being part of these diverse yet equally exciting platforms reaffirms my commitment to creating work that speaks to the times we live in, while also looking toward the future.
