Swiss farming families produce food with great passion and in harmony with natur. They work the soil, grow crops, take care from sowing to harvesting and look after their animals seven days a week. They try to avoid losses as far as possible. Everything that cannot be sold, lacks in income. And food production per se requires many resources. If a third of these resources end up wasted or is transformed into biogas, the environment and climate are unnecessarily burdened.
Agriculture is responsible for 9% of all food waste (Switzerland).
There are approximately 12'000 farmers, who sell their products directly from their farm stores.
Main Objective
Save Food —> Partnership with the Swiss Farming Union to generate leads and onboard the farmer's direct selling points. Bring closer urban population and food producers. Awareness local food production, also during pandemic/lock-down.
